🌾 AIKEN NOT BELIEVE THIS! AIKEN HYDRA PLUS REVIEW

I was browsing through drugstores with my friend and we saw these new Aiken products on the shelves! My friend told me that these products got recommended on Twitter. I decided to make research about the ingredients lists because I have used one of their product before which is the tea tree oil toner but as soon as I found out there is ethanol, I stopped using it. Since then, I have been searching again, other affordable yet functional skincare products especially toner and moisturiser.

I was trying to be more cautious than the last time but I was really surprised with the new improved skincare regime because there is nothing wrong that I can say about these products. It targets hydration and is good for sensitive skin too! Bonus on the cruelty-free!

Both of us swoop the items right away from two different drugstores because it was on low stock and we dont wanna miss the chance! 😆 I only bought the essence water, the gel moisturiser and we decided to split the micellar water to test it out.

My friend have a really sensitive skin and she is always careful when she wanted to try new products but this product probably get on her good side because she gets fewer breakouts than before. She bought the cleanser and she told me that the cleanser is gentle and since there is no fragrance, it doesnt irritate nor dry up her skin. She is currently seeking a dermatologist help to clear up her acne problems. Let's wish her best of luck!

EXPERIENCE

I tend to get oily on my t-zone area or whenever I am outside with makeup on. I got suggested by a salesgirl (one time when I was purchasing some clinelle products at a drugstore) to use a gel moisturiser to help cope with it. I admit that I am lazy when it comes to putting products after cleanser buttt this one makes me believe the magic of moisturiser and ever since that, I never forget to put on moisturiser every single day. It gives everything that I wanted; non-sticky, light, gives the perfect moisture in which I constantly feel. My skin is hydrated and doesn’t get oily like before.

Since I split this product with my friend, I had to put it in a bottle 🤣 (as shown in the picture its an IKEA drinking water bottle).

EXPERIENCE

The micellar water ripped all of the makeup on my skin and leaves a smooth and hydrated feels right away. It's like putting clear water on your face and there is no distinct smell that bothers me.I was like, wowww. So happy with my purchases!

(っ◔◡◔)っ Beauty Reminder ~ Here's a thing about the difference between toner and essence. From my research, toner is used to get rid of any excess dirt from your face after cleanse and the consistency is more liquid-ish. Essence has a thicker consistency and basically, it works just like a toner but more to hydrate the skin.

I think Aiken finally figure out the use of rice water as the ultimate ingredient for skincare which is the best choice ever! I never thought that I would have the experience to try this brand but look at me, (even though you can't ) I am glowing! ✨
