Today I will be sharing my first experience using Laneige products mainly the sleeping hydrating mask and the lip care product. I L.O.V.E everything about these two products because it works!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

CLAIMS

I just found out that they have improve the formula of this sleeping mask and it claims as follows “Laneige's all time bestsellers, Water Sleeping Mask EX is now upgraded! The new overnight mask featuring Sleeping Microbiome™ and enhanced Probiotics Complex that strengthen the skin’s defense to realize a well-slept, bright and clear complex”

USAGE

It came with a spool! I just scoop it out with my hands sometimes because I am lazy but it is easy to apply. I lather it on my face and carefully sleep in a position where nothing would touch my face to avoid any messy outcomes. Overall, it is not a hassle at all

EXPERIENCE

No words can describe how fantastic I feel every single time I use this product overnight and waking up in the morning feeling sassy AF 😆 . It is super hydrating plus if you consume a lot of plain water, it makes the magic more effective! Trust me! No puffy face in the morning anymore.

Although it is quite pricey for an overnight mask, it is worth it. I got it last year for my birthday and I still got some left. I was being super thrifty with this product .😅

My experience so far is great but it is good to have a skincare routine and use this mask as a must-have for weekly self-care.

PROS

- Provide moisture to your skin and make it feels soft and plump in the morning

- Hydrates your skin

- Feels good on the skin

CON

- If I didn’t do a night routine beforehand, I noticed that I get small bump in the morning after applying this

- It has a couple of fragrance based ingredients which is not good for sensitive skin

VERDICT

I really enjoy using this product. I might buy it later in the future if I am looking for the best sleeping mask. But, the price can be a bit pricey so I have to think twice before making a purchase. But I truly enjoyed using this!

IF you use this product alone without using any skincare products, the effectiveness won’t be that obvious.

Consumption of water intake really gives you that hydrating boost as well!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Berry)

CLAIMS

“Enriched with Vitamin C-rich Berry Mix Complex™, containing raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry extracts gently melts dry, flaky dead skin on the lips during the night to realize smooth and supple lips the next morning.” This product also has a new formula and a new range of flavours which I am excited to try in the future!

USAGE

The small tube makes it easier to bring anywhere. It also comes with a soft spool and you can just scoop it out and lather it on your lips. It can also be used as a daily lip balm which is convenient!

EXPERIENCE

I am not really a fan of lip masks especially for overnight because I will get super uncomfortable. Instead of using this as a mask, I use it as a lip balm. My favourite singer Halsey, use this as her daily lip balm and I can’t just stop "fangirling"😆 for a while. It works like any lip balm (moisture and smoothen your lips). I’ve tried it but I don’t really have any issue with dry lips because I CONSUME TONS OF WATER. For a good, pricey lip mask/lip balm, this is one of the best. Furthermore, they had variety of new flavours to check out. I personally would love to try the gummy bear flavour! Sounds delicious 😋

If this is your first time or you are considering some Laneige products to try, I highly recommend both products I have mentioned because it didn’t disappoint me at all.

Let’s talk about water. I think almost everyone in the entire world knows the benefits of drinking water. Other than we needed it to survive, drinking water every day improve your health especially digestion, getting rid of toxins in your body and it really does wonder to your skin!
